Ms. Susan Overy, Ministry Assistant
Susan is the Ministry Assistant to Pastor Langstaff. She provides support to Pastor when counseling and praying with women, and helps to insure the smooth organizational operation of the church. She acts as a liaison between members and ministries, and uses her presentation and writing skills to edit and develop church publications.
She is the step-mother of Chalice, and mother of Andrew, Larry Jr. and Jonathan. After graduating college and working in the corporate environment for 15 years, Susan accepted the Lord's direction to spend more time with her family and support her local church in New Jersey. That experience included home schooling the boys, teaching in the Christian school, and working in the church and school office. She moved to TX in 2001. Susan's love for serving the Lord can be summed up in one of her favorite verses: "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry." (1 Tim 1:12)
